A pet offers lots of love and care. We have two dogs: Mason and Darcy. Mason is a 7 year old male Maltese poodle and Darcy is a 9 year old female Shih Tzu. Both of the dogs have different personalities. Mason is the chubby needy dog who will not be denied. When he has to go outside you better take him or wear a pair of ear plugs and hide yourself in the other room. It's without saying that he is well trained. Darcy is the feisty
dog that is a very independent and loves being on your lap. She's a very picky eater who will not eat
on a bowl or plate. She eats on the floor or by hand. Are you are wondering why I am talking about this on a Mom blog?
The benefits of having a dog outweigh the negative impacts. There are a lot of dogs in your local dog shelter waiting for you. Each dog has its own wants and needs. Some dogs require a big yard while others can live in an apartment. Each breed of dog has its likes and dislikes. Some dogs get along with some families while other dogs are for single people. For help choosing a dog check out my daughter's blog Pets R My World. or your local veterinarian.
Children of all ages can benefit from the unconditional love of a dog. The dogs are my daughter's whole world. She loves them so much. In the morning when she goes to school in her bedroom Mason goes with her. She says he makes her feel calm and he's good company. She has told me in the past that the dogs never judge you. They don't care how big you are or how much you complain. They'll just sit and listen to you without saying a word. They just love you.
If you don't have a pet you might want to consider getting one.You need to understand having a pet requires a lot of responsibility. In my opinion the love of a pet is priceless.
They cheer you when you are down.
They protect you day and night.
The love you unconditionally
They listen to you without talking back.
They try to make your day happy.
The melt your soul when your down.
They guide you if you cannot see.
They will calm your anxiety when your stressed
