I have been watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 since last season. I love the show a lot and I am sad to hear about Jon and Kate's marriage is in turmoil. It's sad to see a families life turned upside down when a couple grows apart. It upsets me a lot because so many kids are involved. The couple most American’s though were totally intact were falling apart behind the scenes. Now America and anyone else who wants to watch will see an entire family changed forever. The kids will see their parent's marriage unwind or rewind on national television. No one will see many of the affects until many years later if at all.

I have been watching the Britain's Got Talent Contestant, Susan Boyle, who won 2nd prize went from a "nobody" to being a famous person for her voice. The media had taken a woman's voice and turned it into a circus. The media attention turned her life upside down overnight. Granted she appeared to enjoy some of the stardom, but everyone has limits. Now she’s hospitalized in a mental illness facility from the emotional and mental stress.

Warning-Here’s a rant. I think it’s sad that the paparazzi seem to have no rules. They pester people until they crack and prey on little children. People shouldn’t be harassed constantly by a bunch of over zealous photographers. If it was anyone else it would be stalking. Why is that its okay to chase people around if they are a star but it’s not okay to stalk a “nobody”? Don’t get me wrong I know that they need to earn a living, but their needs to be limits.

I cannot imagine some over crazed photographer chasing me around like I’m the leader in a race. Then they turn an innocent act in something else. They crop pictures to look like something else. No amount of apologizing will ever take back a person's dignity after their face slapped across a tabloid or shown in a magazine in a compromising position, that's not what it seems. Yes, I admit I watch the shows, but I believe limits need to be set so they have some privacy. Kids should be off limits unless parents say its okay and that’s even questionable.
